Enough is a funny word.
It seems like we often know when we’ve eaten enough, experienced enough, seen enough, but how often can we recognize that place that gets us right up to enough, but doesn’t take us over?
Is enough always related to excess?
Can we be content before enough? Is there a place where we can be happy before we reach enough’s excess?
I read an article by Ron Lieber this week. He’s the author of the best selling book, Opposite of Spoiled. The article is called How Much Money is Enough, but it goes so much deeper than that. From the way we communicate, to the places we choose to live, we are teaching our kids about what enough is to us – and shaping what enough will mean to them in the future.
The article was so fascinating that it is the entire topic of this week’s podcast.
